We’ll be mining for craic...

making a show of ourselves...

We are from Kilfenora and the hinterlands. A band of musicians, artists and theatre makers whose shared passion for live performances and our community have brought us together.

Our goal is to release the instinctual devilment innate in the Irish character and bring out our cultural craic. With our kitchen and our hearth’s combined we will cook you up something warm for your souls.

A roaming and interactive performance, led by a collaboration of musicians, singers and dancers. A road show that travels from village to village and town to town embracing local artists along the way.

Using archived traditional songs as a base for this revival and breathing new life into them, we will take our history with us on the road, explore our ‘traditions’ together. Each place we visit will inform our next show, and so will continue the evolution of our own unique style of storytelling and cabaret.

[ ‘Fit-up’ refers to a 19th century style of theatre or circus of travelling players and performers, where companies would tour from village to village throughout the provinces of Ireland, Britain & elsewhere ]
